Misty Lynn Mitchell – Managing Director
I have been in the accounting industry for over 17 years, working my way up the ladder in nearly every accounting position imaginable in the public and private sectors. This experience has offered me incredible insight into how all pieces of an accounting team work together and has shown me the great need businesses have for fractional accounting services. I recently left a full-time position as Director of Accounting and Finance to pursue my dream of helping other business owners bridge the gap in accounting services. In addition to my 17 years of hands-on experience, I hold a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and an Associates of Arts in Accounting. In addition to these degrees, I hold two accounting certificates and continue to increase my knowledge in the field with continuing education courses. I currently reside in Keller, Texas, with my husband and children.

Lauren Graham – Certified Bookkeeper
After a 7 year career in public education, I have returned to my roots in bookkeeping and accounting. My love of balance, categorization, and attention to detail contribute to a firm foundation from which I continue to grow and thrive. My previous experience as an educator provides an insight into different learning styles and enables me to work with business owners of all mindsets, using my skills to explain difficult concepts in an understandable way. I earned my Bachelors in Biology from Texas Woman’s University and obtained my Bookkeeping Certificate from Intuit. In addition to my education and hands on experience, I continue to expand my knowledge in the accounting field with continuing education. I currently reside in Argyle, TX with my husband and daughter.

Dawn Hughes – Certified Bookkeeper
I’ve had a passion for accounting since high school, but my career initially took a different path. I became a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant and worked in that field for several years before starting my family in 2017. For the past eight years, I have worked from home in an administrative role for a startup company, which led me to rediscover my love for accounting. Organization, balance, and attention to detail have been constants throughout my career and continue to support my personal and professional growth. I started with Mitchell Accountancy in May 2025, and since then, I have earned my Bookkeeping Certificate through Intuit. I plan to further my education in accounting to expand my skills and knowledge. I currently live in Palm Coast, FL, with my husband and our two wonderful children.
